Kriya Yoga – Become fit to be god-realized
यथा नद्यः स्यन्दमानाः समुद्रेऽस्तं गच्छन्ति नामरूपे विहाय ।
Mundaka Upanishad Verse 3.2.8
तथा विद्वान्नामरूपाद्विमुक्तः परात्परं पुरुषमुपैति दिव्यम् ॥ ८ ॥
yathā nadyaḥ syandamānāḥ samudre’staṃ gacchanti nāmarūpe vihāya |
tathā vidvānnāmarūpādvimuktaḥ parātparaṃ puruṣamupaiti divyam || 8 ||
The flowing rivers enter the ocean and give up their names and forms and become invisible. Similarly wise and Self Realized Masters become free from name and form as they enter the Supreme Divine Being.
तदेतदृचाऽभ्युक्तं क्रियावन्तः श्रोत्रिया ब्रह्मनिष्ठाः स्वयं जुह्वत एकर्षिं श्रद्धयन्तः ।
Mundaka Upanishad Verse 3.2.10
तेषामेवैतां ब्रह्मविद्यां वदेत शिरोव्रतं विधिवद्यैस्तु चीर्णम् ॥ १० ॥
tadetadṛcā’bhyuktaṃ kriyāvantaḥ śrotriyā brahmaniṣṭhāḥ svayaṃ juhvata ekarṣiṃ śraddhayantaḥ |
teṣāmevaitāṃ brahmavidyāṃ vadeta śirovrataṃ vidhivadyaistu cīrṇam || 10 ||
Those who practice Kriya Yoga become learned in Holy Scriptures. They become firmly established in God and develop faith and zeal. अथाध्यात्मं यद्देतद्गच्छतीव च मनोऽनेन चैतदुपस्मरत्यभीक्ष्णम् सङ्कल्पः || 30 ||
Kenopanishad Verse 4.30
athādhyātmaṃ yaddetadgacchatīva ca mano’nena caitadupasmaratyabhīkṣṇam saṅkalpaḥ || 30
Spiritual discussions about God, cannot reach God, even if discussed again and again. So, sincere spiritual seeker, by using this mind, should constantly remember God.
